Oh, the Humanity

Did you catch your PRESIDENT giving YOU the children's book version of "how this all happened" like it was the Miracle of Childbirth or something? He also made some artful use of history. Something about '20th century' laws failing us. (Er, um, when did the credit/housing/loans/bonds/WS deregulation happen again?) And how can he be idiot enough to say no more than 30 seconds earlier that American economics have kept us from having a crash for 75 years and will sustain us now? Apparently none of those 75 years have occured in the 20th Century, OR, we're NOW in the 20th Century. Gee, I knew I felt like I was moving backwards, but I couldn't figure out why until now.
